George D. LeMaitre, MD, FACS is a respected vascular surgeon, inventor of medical devices, author of surgical books and a novel, and lifelong teacher. As an instructor at Tufts University School of Medicine, he trains medical students in the art of physical diagnosis. He enjoys discussing the total care of the patient entrusted to the physician.

Dr. LeMaitre lives in Andover, Massachusetts with his wife and is the father of five children, including two who are physicians.
